In 1984, the BC Tel Co Operator Office
was closed in Terrace BC.
To mark the occasion, a history book was published
covering the years 1968-1984
The following pages are just a portion of this book
Note- all are scanned copies of the book,
so searching for a specific name
can not be done at this time.
One day when I get time I will run these through
some OCR software to enable a search to be done.

I would like to first comment on one Operator I know,
and a Princess of a Lady,
by the name of Maggie Tugwood.

A long time Operator, mother of Mike Tugwood,
who worked in the Terrace Service Center,
Maggie's retirement party was held Oct 8, 1983
Just one of those special people
that brightened up your day meeting her.
She was a Strong Union Supporter.
